Radiesse
Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapetite. It is thicker than the HAs. Despite early claims by the manufacturer, Radiesse duration is similar to HAs. There is some evidence, however, that it also stimulates your own collagen production to some degree.
Radiesse is used for smile lines, cheeks, hands and for men with heavier tissues. In fact, it is our preferred filler for hands (off label). It should not be used for the lips due to nodule formation.
